I am so in the mood to play D6 Star Wars right at this moment. Ah, to relive those last pleasant memories before I completely fell out of love with Star Wars...

In addition to AD&D, Star Wars d6 was the other RPG we played a lot of when I was younger. I haven't really played it since The Phantom Menace came out aside from a fun one-shot a few years ago, though it's very possible to block out the bad SW and immerse yourself in the good SW if you try. I'd run that game again now if I thought I had players who'd appreciate it. Old school SW only, naturally!
One of my favorite RPGs, I'm sorry to say I only played it once. I'd run it I'n a heartbeat now. It's not hard for me to block out the crappy Star Wars since I've been showing the original trilogy exclusively to my young boys.

If only you had a regular group of players, of which several of whom had expressed interest in such a game...
