They seldom make me contemplate gouging my eyes out with a spoon or make me feel as if my I.Q. dropped thirty points from stupidity contamination. That's something that I can't say about most of the RPG-related forums out there on the ether. Ey-yugg.

You're right of course, I've seen only a few blog posts that were just completely stupid. Maybe half of the posts in some forums (fora?) are.
Yup. There is something useful about having a sole voice attached to a medium. If it grates on you you can dismiss it, turn it off, and then you're free to think again. Lots of voices hollering with nothing at stake ... I've got that in my head already and it keeps me up all hours of the night. I don't need that on the mf'ing internet all day as well.
I prefer RPG blogs to online forums, Facebook groups, or Google+ circles.
