Dungeon Crawl Classics #77: The Croaking Fane
For as long as men remember, the Lord of Evil Amphibians carried out unspeakable rites in his squatting temples situated far from civilization. Tales of human sacrifice, squirming servants, and rich but loathsome treasures were whispered of his followers. Now, unexpectedly, his servants have seemingly vanished, leaving behind their fanes to molder in the marshes. A brave band of adventurers gathers to explore one such tabernacle, eager to discover what riches—and terrors—the Lord of Evil Amphibians has left behind…

I was able to play test "The Sea Queen Escapes" earlier this year and it was a real treat. A different flavor than most DCCs and had some nasty puzzles to boot. Tons of fun though!
The Mayans will be right, they didn't believe this end of the world stuff, it's New-Agers that do.
Although I have to say, I think the DCC RPG was sort of apocalyptic to the OSR movement, taking away some of the best writers for a game that is not particularly OSR (or fun, IMHO)
Agreed with Jeremy on both counts. It's not the Mayans' fault people are misinterpreting their old calendar. And the DCC game rubs me the wrong way. But to each his own.
Does the module include an underwater dungeon? I've been running an isle hopping sandbox, and I have an underwater mini-dungeon on the map. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but now that it's time to flesh it out, I'm totally stumped. I could use some material to nick, including maps, traps, encounters, etc.
Also, I expect the PCs to get there in a month or two. Will The Sea Queen Escapes be available by then?
