Sneak Peek at DCC Adventures

I'd like to draw your attention to this thread over at the Goodman Games website forum. Since Joseph Goodman included it in the thread, I offer you the following without commentary. Look for more info to emerge in the weeks ahead.

I'm eagerly looking forward to these modules. I wonder what the final cover art will look like. I miss the old TSR style covers, but I could go for some pulp style artwork.

Nice homage to Tramp. Don't know about FCC overall, but it's been interesting to follow.

For a game said to be based on the fiction that inspired D&D it sure looks like this game is ALL about being D&D-ish, and with a near-parody tone almost like the tone Hackmaster has already used.

Is that really the title of one of the DCC modules? I'm hoping it's a joke, because Emirikol Was Framed! certainly sounds like a joke module -- and D&D in-joke to boot -- rather than something inspired by the pulp fantasies DCC has touted as its wellspring.

Has the Emirikol of the title something to do with the magic item of old 'the Fist of Emirikol'?

If DCC is going to go the Hackmaster route and include gamish jokes and puns, I've lost interest in it already.
