It's a nice, sturdy map, and it's just the right size for an initial campaign area.Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00155926145150934199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4727301007280965202.post-73518986820431626232009-02-18T10:52:00.000-05:002009-02-18T10:52:00.000-05:00Heh, heh. Every hero of creativity has built on what came before. Any student of history knows that the saying “There’s nothing new under the sun” holds a lot of truth.

Secondly, we’re talking about a diversion. A great author might make a great DM, but a great DM need not be a great author. Plenty of great DMs have stolen liberally and used every cliché in the book.

Arguably, cliché is actually good for D&D, because it allows you to skip some exposition and get on with the action—if that’s what you and your group want.

So, I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I just wish I was better at putting it into practice myself. ^_^Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16733274876782876659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4727301007280965202.post-17501534870247798412009-02-18T09:39:00.000-05:002009-02-18T09:39:00.000-05:00I’m sure that there are people out there who would...I’m sure that there are people out there who would consider such a decision to be the sign of a lazy or incompetent referee.

If anyone give you any hassle send them my way and I will make rude farty noises at them with my tongue.Jeff Rientshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17493878980535235896noreply@blogger.com
