A romp through this dungeon of yours sounds like a serious blast.

BOC? Yeah, they rock. I'm a huge fan of that musical era, and BOC was a fine representative. Not sure why, but I am constantly drawing parallels between them and the older Moody Blues stuff.

Nice work Mike.Gamer Dudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05006232842482959060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4727301007280965202.post-31943709138760010252008-12-01T23:51:00.000-05:002008-12-01T23:51:00.000-05:00Looking forward to reading more about your dungeon...Looking forward to reading more about your dungeon. I'm actually considering (gasp) reworking quite a bit of the stuff I've already finished for my own; one of the drawbacks of being an endless tinkerer and homebrewer.

Speaking of BoC, I used to really enjoy the album Fire of Unknown Origin. The song, Veteran of the Psychic Wars was co-written with Michael Moorcock, and is supposedly about the Eternal Champion. I haven't listened to BoC in ages, aside from the rare spin Godzilla receives. Good stuff, though. I'm not sure it would agree with me now, though.

Speaking of which, I really need to buy the Heavy Metal DVD.Sham aka Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14329116400656617173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4727301007280965202.post-77393163234321547352008-12-01T13:00:00.000-05:002008-12-01T13:00:00.000-05:00Thank you, Scott. I try my best.

I've noticed that a lot of the old school gaming crowd seems to have a soft spot for BOC, most likely for the each reason you mentioned. Other than Zepplin's Tolkien references, there wasn't a lot of rock during the developmental period of D&D that alluded to genre specific inspiration matter.

I still go see BOC everytime they play in the area, and have found them to be inspiration background music while designing.Michael Curtishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13217338828086458862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4727301007280965202.post-24604743196451181352008-12-01T11:16:00.000-05:002008-12-01T11:16:00.000-05:00Just wanted to let you know you're doing good work...Just wanted to let you know you're doing good work here.

I shied away from most 70s arena rock, but BOC was one of a handful of those groups I really liked because they sang about Godzilla, psychic wars, and Stormbringer.Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00155926145150934199noreply@blogger.com
